What We Do

SERVICE BEFORE SELF!

Welcome!

On behalf of the members of the Chemung County Sunrise Rotary Club, I welcome you to our club and our new and improved website. We're comprised of some twenty five caring and committed members dedicated to the betterment of our community, country, and world.

If you are a Rotarian visiting our area, we invite you to visit and join us for a meeting. If you are a local resident looking for opportunities in civic engagement and fellowship, we urge you to visit as well. Take us on a "test drive." See if we might meet your needs.

Congratulations to our 2019 GST BOCES Scholarship for Trades Winners

How We Help

Working at Meals on Wheels

Volunteer Opportunities

Helping Others

Our annual Pumpkin Express is a fun family Fall event.  Vendors, crafts, games, and good food are available.  Proceeds go to support our community projects.

Vendor Application

Rotary Gives Back - We donated $10,000 to various community organizations this year.

Bags for Foster Children

Through our "Bowling for Bags" fundraiser and an additional donation from our "Rotary Gives Back" donation we were able to purchase 90 rolling duffle bags for the foster children of Chemung County.  The Elmira Heights Rotary Club and the Horseheads Kiwanis also contributed.  Many currently carry their belongings in garbage bags.  Now each one will have a brand new rolling duffle bag to carry.  Jackie Stevens is shown outside of the county building delivering the bags.
